🫖 Available Sizes

Full Brew – 3 oz loose spice (enough for ~4 bottles of wine or 2 half-gallons of cider)
🍵 Little Sachet – 1 oz pre-filled spice sachet (enough for 1 bottle of wine or ½ gallon of cider)

🌿 Ingredients

Organic cassia cinnamon chips, organic oranges, organic allspice, organic orange peel, organic ginger, organic cloves, and organic anise star pods.

🍵 Brewing/Use Instructions

  • Wine (750 ml / 25 oz): Use 2–3 Tbsp (≈ 0.5–0.75 oz / 14–21 g).

  • Cider (½ gallon / 64 oz): Use 3–4 Tbsp (≈ 1–1.25 oz / 28–35 g).

📝 Directions:

  • Combine wine or cider with Harvest Grog Spices in a heavy-bottomed pot.

  • Heat over medium-high until it just reaches a simmer — avoid boiling.

  • Reduce heat to low, cover, and gently simmer for at least 15 minutes or up to 3 hours.

  • Scoop out spices with a mesh spoon or straining device.

  • Taste and add honey, sugar, or your favorite sweetener if desired.

  • Serve warm in mugs with a slice of fresh orange for festive flair.

🍵 Pro Tips

  • Steeping the spices in a large cloth bag makes straining much easier.

  • This recipe is flexible — increase or decrease the spice quantity to suit your taste.

  • A crock pot works beautifully for slow simmering; leave on low for at least an hour before serving
